Pets are companions that follow the player into the dungeon, and provide beneficial buffs/procs to the player! They are persistent between games, and players will always start the dungeon with their pet!

Pet Mechanics

• Players can only bring one pet into the dungeon with them

• Most pets are represented as NFTs, and as such, are configurable within in the Home Dungeon

• Pets can be enhanced at the NFT forge.

• Pets cannot be enchanted.

• Pets cannot be crafted.

• Pets do not block enemies or players, and follow the player no matter where they go!

• Pets provide an in-combat bonus, dependent on the pet type.

• Pets can be sold on the marketplace.

How to acquire pets

Pets are hatched from the Pet Store on the [NFT marketplace](https://marketplace.crusadersofcrypto.com).

Cost

The current cost of a pet is 0.1 BNB.

When hatching a pet, players can use any 2 other NFT as "food", which reduces the price of the pet to 0.05 BNB (. NFT used in this way are "burned" (Similar to NFT Vendor/NFT Forge)

Rarity

When hatching a pet, all pets in that grouping have an equal chance to be hatched. For example, if there are 10 pets in the batch, each pet will have a 10% chance to be hatched.

Similarly, each pet has a Shiny version of itself, which has a 3% chance to spawn when hatching a pet.

Pet NFTs and Expedition

Pet Types are considered Distinct NFT, and contribute to the NFT Points of the Expedition Claim System. Similarly, pet shiny versions grant an additional NFT point for each distinct shiny in the wallet when claiming.

For example, if a player has the following:

• 1 Shieldy Pet, Normal

• 1 Shieldy Pet, Shiny

• 1 Sporey Pet, Normal

They would receive 3 NFT points for the expedition (2 from distinct pet types, 1 for distinct shiny types).

How to Use Pets

To use pets, simply configure them in your home dungeon, the same as configuring any equipment or consumables! Simply walk up to the "Configure Crusader" table, select which pet you'd like to delve with, and then Save settings!
