Successfully clearing the dungeon in any game mode will have a small % chance to award loot! This is one of the primary ways to play-to-earn in Crusaders of Crypto!
When a player successfully (E.g. didn't die) completes a dungeon, and clicks "Save and Share", that play through will be queued for evaluation on Crusaders of Crypto servers! Upon validation, and with a little bit of luck, the player will receive in-game mail that is delivered to their Home Dungeon. Upon visiting their Home Dungeon, the player can check the mailbox for any "Dungeon-clear-Rewards" that are redeemable!
Once one is earned, simply pay gas, and the reward will be given directly to the player.
The following are an example of (but not limited to) possible play-to-earn rewards:
Dungeon-clear-only NFT, that are sellable at the Crusaders of Crypto marketplace to other players!

Note: In order to receive dungeon-clear-rewards, the player must be a CRUSADER holder (see for minimum required). Similarly, a dungeon win can only count if it is at least 5 minutes from a previously recorded win. If a player is finishing a mode to quickly, thinking about challenging the next mode up!
The drop rate of the dungeon-clear-reward can be increased by holding more CRUSADER, as well as through in-game events, holding distinct NFT, and the usages of RUPEE-purchased boosters.
Note: In order to be eligible for NFT dungeon clear rewards, the player must hold CRUSADER (see Holding Tiers for eligibility).
Similarly, the harder a mode is, the bigger the chance of a drop!
Normal Mode: 1% chance
Hard Mode: 2.2% chance
Expert Mode: 5% chance
Nightmare 1 Mode: 6%
Nightmare 2 Mode: 7%
Nightmare 3 Mode: 8%
Nightmare 4 Mode: 9%
The drop rate is modified by an additional 1% (multiplicatively to base) for every 100B Crusader held.
The drop rate is modified by an additional 0.25% (multiplicatively to base) for every non-duplicate NFT held.
This form of earning rewards players who are dedicated to playing the game! Even still there will be a cap to the amount of rewards that can be earned in a day this way, however that cap will stay high enough that 99% of players will never hit. (Will be monitored and adjusted on an on-going basis).
To encourage/curb some of the randomness in NFT rewards, Crusaders of Crypto is trialing a "Pity System" in order to both increase rewards, as well as provide an avenue for guaranteed earning for those actively playing the game.
The pity system has a holding requirement of 20,000,000,000 CRUSADER, and can be described as follows:
Successfully complete a dungeon (which has a certain % chance to drop an NFT)
If you do not receive an NFT, players will receive 1/5th of the drop rate added to the next successful run
This process both repeats and stacks with itself, meaning the longer the chain of unrewarded runs, the higher the overall pity rate will be!
The Pity Rate calculation is based off of total chance, so modifiers like those from holding more CRUSADER, and the RUPEE Buff will make pity stack faster!
Once an NFT is found, the pity cooldown starts, determined by CRUSADER holdings. Once on cooldown, pity cannot accrue until there has been no NFT looted in that time period. For example, with a cooldown of 5 days, once an NFT is looted, Pity cannot begin to accrue until the 5 day period is up.
Example:
Base Expert Drop Rate: 5%
Drop rate with Large Rupee Buff: 10%
First Clear Rate: 10%
Second Clear Rate: 12% (10 + 10 * .2)
Third Clear Rate: 14.4% (12% + 12 * .2)
Fourth Clear Rate: 17.28% (14.4% + 14.4 * .2)
etc...
A "Pity Modifier" Section has been added to the Crystal Ball, so that players track how much of an increase to drop rate they currently have.
Similarly, if enough CRUSADER is held, the Pity system turns into a guarantee system, which rewards NFT Daily, guaranteed from the first successful runs of the dungeon. The tiers are listed below:
